The second in a series of three Safe City Nights events will occur Monday, June 26, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Robert Asp Elementary, located at 910 11 St N. There will be numerous representatives from area first responder agencies, including a scheduled landing by Sanford AirMed. There will be a bounce house from Games to Go, yard games with Red River Valley Boys and Girls Club, a bike rodeo, and much more.
A brand new bike, donated by Moorhead Scheels, will be one of many free raffle prizes. Food and drink and Dilly Bars from 8 Street Dairy Queen will be there. Bring your bikes and participate in the bike rodeo and get them serviced for free by Moorhead Police.
Safe City Nights is a cooperative program involving numerous agencies throughout the region to meet members of our community in a safe, positive setting. Agencies involved include the City of Moorhead Police, Fire and Parks and Rec Departments, Clay County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Sanford Ambulance, Safe Kids, AAA, Red River Valley SWAT, AirMed, and more. This event is sponsored by the Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League, Brett Oertli State Farm Insurance, and Krabbenhoft Realty Team, two Moorhead Businesses giving back to their community.
