Administration
The Administration Department is made up of 8 divisions, including 6 internal service divisions:
- City Manager’s Office
- City Clerk’s Office
- City Attorney
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Information Technology
Each internal service division provides administrative support functions to City of Moorhead Departments.
In addition:
- The Economic Development Division provides a range of programs and services directed to our business community and residents that support our local economy.
- The Governmental Affairs Division includes media relations, communications and marketing, as well as legislative and intergovernmental functions that enable the City of Moorhead to offer our residents and businesses housing finance opportunities and other services through partnerships with state and federal agencies, as well as local lenders.

PUBLIC DATA REQUESTS
The Government Data Practices Act (Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13) presumes that all government data are public unless a state or federal law says the data are not public. Government data is a term that means all recorded information a government entity has, including paper, e-mail, DVDs, photographs, etc.
The Government Data Practices Act requires the City to keep all government data in a way that makes it easy for you, as a member of the public, to access. You have the right to look at public data that is kept free of charge. You also have the right to get copies, however the City can charge a fee for data. If charges apply, you have the right to look at the data for free before deciding to request a copy.
