The Moorhead Police Department is still investigating a hit-and-run crash between a juvenile on a bicycle and a vehicle that occurred on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Highway 10 and 21 Street South. The vehicle's driver failed to remain on the scene and fled without contacting law enforcement. Through information received regarding a possible partial license plate, officers followed up on local vehicles close to the suspect vehicle's description. A vehicle was located with damage that would match the one involved in this crash. The vehicle is currently impounded, and further investigative work is in progress. The registered owner has yet to come forward and has not been located.
