Hjemkomst Center To Receive Security Cameras Through Minnesota Historical Society Grant
Through collaborative efforts with the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, the City of Moorhead successfully acquired $62,000 of grant funds specifically allocated for security improvements at the Hjemkomst Center. This grant allows for enhanced safety and security both inside and outside of the building. This project was made possible in part by the people of Minnesota through a grant funded by an appropriation to the Minnesota Historical Society from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
The Hjemkomst Center is not only a community gathering place but also a site of significant cultural and historical value. The installation of security cameras will help safeguard the exhibits, artifacts, and the overall integrity of the facility. This grant is a step toward ensuring that future generations can continue to learn from and be inspired by the rich history and culture that the Hjemkomst Center represents.
