Moorhead Man Arrested on Burglary Charge

On Monday, October 21, 2024, shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of 11 Street South for an alarm call. A business employee remotely provided a description and activity of the suspect from their video surveillance equipment. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect outside the business and took him into custody. The suspect stated he entered through a door. No damage was noted to the business.

The suspect, Destin Jefferson, age 29, of Moorhead, was transported to the Clay County Correctional Facility, and a long-form complaint was requested for burglary charges. The Clay County Sheriff's Office assisted with the call.
