The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG) is beginning the second round of public engagement for the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and they want to hear from you!
These focus group meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn about the MTP and to share your comments, concerns, and questions on the Fargo-Moorhead area’s transportation goals and priorities within the MTP. They are hoping to connect with neighborhood leaders throughout the region to learn more about your mobility needs within
individual neighborhoods and connections into the great region. Their discussion will focus on all modes of transportation – walking, rolling, biking, driving and taking transit.
There will be two opportunities to connect:
- Option #1 – Tuesday, July 23rd from 4:30 - 6:00 pm at the Metro COG office (2nd Street N, Suite 222, Fargo, ND 58102). Parking available on site.
- Option #2 – Wednesday, July 24th from 8:00 - 9:30 am at the Sky Commons on the second level of the Fargo Civic Center (207 4th St N, Fargo, ND 58102). Parking is available at the Civic Center Ramp or on the street.
If you cannot attend a focus group meeting, there will be two pop-up events in addition to an open house this summer where you can share your input!
- Pop-up Event: July 18-20th @ Fargo Street Fair
- Open House: July 24th @ Brewhalla from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
