On November 8, 2023 at approximately 7:29 PM, The City of Moorhead Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of 7 Avenue South. The suspect, Lavester Lavonte Lee Adams (28), of Moorhead, fled the scene before officers arrived. Investigating officers determined the disturbance was domestic related and a firearm was displayed during the incident.
Officers later located Adams in a residence in the 100 block of 16 Street South. He was taken into custody without incident. Adams was arrested for Second Degree Assault, First Degree Burglary, Domestic Assault and Interfering with a 911 Call. He is currently being held at the Clay County Correctional Facility.
