Drug Search Warrant Leads to Arrest and Seized Drugs and Guns
On Friday, August 25, 2023, detectives with the Moorhead Police Department, acting on numerous tips from the public, conducted a search warrant in the 3500 block of Village Green Lane. During the search warrant, officers located over 1,500 M30 pills. In the vicinity of the drugs were over $2,800 in cash and two firearms. While conducting the warrant, two small children were also present, of which Clay County Social Services was made aware.
Ransom is being held in the Clay County Correction Facility on a long-form complaint of Felony First Degree Controlled Substance Sale and Possession of Firearms/Ammunition after being convicted of a violent crime.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office assisted the Moorhead Police Department.
