Post Date:03/08/2022 9:54 am

The annual Celtic Festival has been a long-standing tradition in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and Moorhead Parks and Recreation is excited to bring this popular event back to an in-person festival in 2022! The Celtic Festival celebrates the nations of Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, and Wales through music, dance, presentations, foods, and history.

The Celtic Festival is planned for Saturday, March 19, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Hjemkomst Center, 202 1 Ave N.

Celtic Festival will feature two entertainment stages with live music, dance, storytelling, and presentations. Learn about Celtic customs and traditions from the area vendors that will be selling goods and sharing information. Catering by Concordia will be serving traditional Celtic cuisine that includes: bangers and mash, scotch eggs, irish stew, and more!

Admission is $5.00 per person, kids 10 and under are free.

Additional parking will be available at the Moorhead Center Mall and the American Crystal Sugar lot. MATBUS will be operating the LinkFM service with pick-up locations at the Moorhead Center Mall and Fargo City Hall. For more information, click here.

The Celtic Festival is sponsored by: The Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau and 3 Celts and Company.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
