On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at approximately 11:20 am, the Moorhead Police Department, Moorhead Fire Department, and Sanford Ambulance responded to the 1300 block of 34 Avenue South for a report of a male trapped under a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the adult male victim, unresponsive and trapped under the front of the van he was working on in a residential garage. Another male witnessed the incident and immediately began to attempt to free the male. The Moorhead Fire Department extricated the victim, who was determined to be deceased on the scene.
The Moorhead Police Department is currently investigating the incident; however, nothing appears to be suspicious. The victim will be transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The identity of the adult male is pending notification of family members.
