Please attend this meeting to discuss community development needs. The City of Moorhead will soon be preparing its (2020-2024) 5-Year Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development. The plans are used to allocate Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, assistance provided by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to promote affordable housing and economic opportunities for low-to-moderate income persons. The 5-year Consolidated Plan sets strategies and goals for CDBG resources. The (2015-2019) 5-year plan may be viewed on the City’s website.
The facility is accessible for persons with mobility impairments. Additional opportunities for input: It is anticipated that a draft (2020-2024) 5-Year Consolidated Plan and the 2020 Action Plan will be posted online in mid-October for a 30-day comment period, with a public hearing before the Moorhead City Council October 28, 2019. The Mayor and Council are expected to consider approval of the plans on November 12, 2019, after the comment period ends. It will then be submitted to HUD.
