Mayor Williams and members of the Moorhead City Council will be joined for a ground breaking ceremony by important stakeholders who have worked to make the SE Main/20 St/21 St Railroad possible. Expected guests include our state and federal legislative delegations and representatives of the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Burlington Northern Railroad, and the contractors who will construct this $65.9 million transportation infrastructure project.
Parking is available at Moorhead High School (permit parking will not be enforced during this event). Parking restrictions on 4 Ave S have also been suspended during the event.
An event involving members of the City Council will be held at the date, time, and location as indicated above. The number of Council Members present may create a quorum of the City Council, so this notice is provided to the public of the potential meeting.
