Moorhead is gathering broad community input toward the articulation of both the vision and path for the development of Moorhead as a city known for its arts and culture. We are seeking participation from our entire community - all walks of life, all ages, all cultural experiences and all community sectors (i.e. business, public, education, etc.). We need your input into this process.
Moorhead has long been known as a place that invites creative expression, a place that is welcoming to people of all ages and a home to cultural expression in a breadth of forms. Design Moorhead will help us develop a vision and plan to enhance Moorhead as a more creative place. The City of Moorhead's Art and Culture Commission is committed to the development of a roadmap to outline paths to further development of arts and culture as key drivers in creating a vital future for our community.

Join us for a design charrette on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 10am to 6pm. This will be a fun process for sharing your thoughts through discussion groups or creative design projects. We hope you can join us for the entire day. If this is not possible, please join as you are able.
If you are unable to attend, we hope you provide your ideas through an online survey.
A meeting involving members of the Art and Culture Commission and City Council will be held at the date, time, and location as indicated above. The number of Members present may create a quorum; so, this notice is provided to the public of the potential meeting.
