Moorhead invites community input on future growth area planning areas

The City of Moorhead is developing Growth Area Plans for future growth areas around the City.  The project is being led by the City’s consultant, Stantec.  Community feedback is being requested at an open house:

Peggy Harter, P.E., Stantec’s project manager, will present an overview of recent development within the City at 5:15 pm, followed by a discussion related to future area growth. The City wants to hear from area residents, property owners, business owners, and other interested parties about future development of the City.

Growth Area Plans serve as a road map to guide future development and public improvements such as streets, sewer, water, stormwater and electric infrastructure, and park facilities.

A meeting involving members of the City Council will be held at the date, time, and location as indicated above.  The number of Council Members present may create a quorum of the City Council; so, this notice is provided to the public of the potential meeting.
