A meeting involving members of the City Council will be held at the date, time and location as indicated above. The number of Council Members present may create a quorum of the City Council; so, this notice is provided to the public of the potential meeting.
The public is invited to an open house to learn more about the 2016 project to reconstruct the Interstate 94/Highway 75 interchange.
The informational open house is scheduled from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 1080 28 Ave S, Moorhead. No formal presentation is planned.
Work will begin as soon as late April on the interchange reconstruction project.
Key components include:
- Reconstruction of the I-94/Hwy 75 interchange to a diverging diamond interchange
- Construction of an auxiliary lane in each direction on I-94 between Hwy 75/8 St and 20 St S
- Resurfacing and widening of Highway 75 in select areas between 22 Ave and 35 Ave S
The meeting is an opportunity for the public to get to their questions answered about the project timeline, staging and detours.
Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation, the City of Moorhead and Sellin Brothers, the prime contractor, will be available at the meeting.
