You are invited to MB Johnson Park for International Observe the Moon Night, Saturday, September 19, from 8-10:30 pm. Moorhead Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Fargo-Moorhead Astronomy Club, the NASA-JPL Solar System Ambassadors of North Dakota, and the MSUM Department of Physics and Astronomy, to provide an evening of stargazing!
Telescopes for observing the moon and other celestial objects, as well as moon-related educational activities will be available. Attendees are welcome to bring their own telescopes too!
Those wishing to be involved with event planning or to bring a science activity to share may contact the FM Astronomy Club President, Scarlet Gray Bernard, via email, at scarlet.bernard@gmail.com. This event is free and open to the public.
