In the month of September, the City of Moorhead will be preparing its 2016 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development. This plan is used to allocate Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, assistance provided by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to promote affordable housing and economic opportunities for low to moderate income persons. The year 2016 will be year 2 of a 5-year Consolidated Plan (2015 – 2019) that sets strategies and goals for CDBG resources. Before publishing its 2016 Action Plan, the City will have a meeting to discuss community development needs.
The Council Chambers are accessible for persons with mobility impairments. In advance of the meeting, alternative formats of this information or accommodation for persons with disabilities will be made upon request.
