A meeting involving members of the City Council will be held at the date, time and location as indicated above. The number of Council Members present may create a quorum of the City Council; so, this notice is provided to the public of the potential meeting.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites businesses and the public to learn more about the Interstate 94/Highway 75 interchange reconstruction project in Moorhead set to begin in 2016.
An informational open house is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 21, at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 1080 28 Ave S, Moorhead. A short presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn about the project timeline, detours and anticipated traffic impacts.
Representatives from MnDOT and project consultant Stantec will be available at the meeting to answer questions.
Key elements of the project include:
- Construction of a diverging diamond interchange at I-94 and Hwy 75
- Improvements to the intersections of Hwy 75 and 30 Ave, and Highway 75 and 24 Ave
- Pedestrian accessibility improvements, including a grade-separated multi-use path
- An auxiliary lane in each direction on I-94 between Hwy 75 and 20 St
