On December 31, 2023, at 5 PM, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of 34 Street Circle South on a report of a male who had been shot. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, who had a gunshot injury. The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment—his condition is not known at this time.
The investigation is ongoing. No suspect information is available; however, there is no known threat to the general public. No weapon was located at the scene, and no further information is available.
The Moorhead Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the MN State Patrol, Moorhead Fire Department, and Sanford Ambulance.
