The City of Moorhead, along with other local government partners in Cass and Clay Counties, are converting from the CodeRED emergency messaging system to a new system, Cass Clay Alerts. The CodeRED emergency alert system will be discontinued locally on September 1, 2020. All residents must register with Cass Clay Alerts to receive local emergency notifications. Subscriber information from CodeRED will not be transferred automatically to the new system.

On Wednesday, August 5 at 9 am, current CodeRED subscribers will get a CodeRED alert encouraging them to sign up for Cass Clay Alerts.

Whether you previously subscribed to CodeRED or not, please sign up for Cass Clay Alerts. The new system has flexibility to tailor your subscription to your notification preferences. You may register up to 5 addresses to get alerts about home, work, school, family members' locations, or other locations important to you.
