On July 27th, 2020 at 4:32PM, Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 12th Avenue South. on a report of a motor vehicle accident, possibly involving a bicyclist.
Officers determined that a grey Ford Expedition, occupied by two adults, had been traveling westbound on 12th Avenue South. The vehicle eventually left the roadway and struck a tree on the south side of the avenue. The front seat passenger needed to be extricated by members of the Moorhead Fire Department and was later transported to a local hospital with non-life threating injuries. Officers had also located an adult female bicyclist at the scene that appeared to have been involved in the accident. The bicyclist appeared to have minor injuries but could not recall what had occurred. The bicyclist was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
