The tip411 app creates a two-way line of communication between the public and the Moorhead Police Department, allowing residents to anonymously share information that can assist in solving crimes and enhancing public safety across our community.

How to Submit an Anonymous Tip

OPTION 1: Text Message
Text the keyword TIPMOORHEAD followed by your message to 847411 (tip411).

OPTION 2: Download the Moorhead Police Department App
The app allows users to submit tips and access the department website and social media platforms.

OPTION 3: Submit a Tip Online
Use the secure web form on the Moorhead Police Department’s website to send an anonymous tip.
After submitting, you’ll receive a six-digit anonymous ID to follow up or provide additional information.
