On October 12, 2020, the City Council held a final assessment hearing to pass upon proposed assessments as a result of permanent infrastructure improvements which were made and/or are in the process of being completed. Hearing notices were mailed to affected property owners on September 24, 2020. The City Council adopted and passed all assessments at that hearing. The hearing notice now acts as a final bill.
Affected property owners may pay the assessment, or a portion of the assessment without interest, payments can be made until 4:30 pm on November 13, 2020 to the City of Moorhead Finance Department. After November 13, 2020, any unpaid balance will be certified to the County and added to the property tax statement of affected parcels, with interest, for payments to start in 2021.
