Man Arrested for Trespassing
Incident 2018-00002550
On January 26, 2018, at 1:06 a.m., officers were sent to the area of 8 Avenue South and 3 Street South for a male who had been inside the complainant's house but fled on foot when she confronted him. With the assistance of the Clay County Sheriff's Office, a perimeter was set up and a Canine track was started. Perimeter officers discovered the suspect near the intersection of 6 Avenue South and Woodlawn Drive. His shoes matched prints left at the scene. He was taken to the Clay County Jail where he was cited and released for the following misdemeanor charges:
- Trespassing
- Disorderly Conduct
He has been identified as 29 year old Zachary Payne from Fargo. It does not appear that homeowner and the suspect knew each other.
