With deep respect, the Moorhead Police Department shares the passing of former Officer Bradley “Brad” Schenck, who died on November 8, 2025, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Brad served the Moorhead Police Department for 16 years, including 10 years as a member of the Red River Valley SWAT team. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Air Force National Guard. His commitment to public service, both in uniform and in the community, left a lasting impact on those who knew and worked alongside him.
Funeral services will be held as follows:
- Visitation: Friday, November 21, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Moorhead; a Prayer Service and Remembrance will follow at 6:30 p.m.
- Funeral Service: Saturday, November 22, at 1 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus in Fargo. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. The funeral service will be live-streamed.
