On November 15, 2025 at approximately 01:43 am, Moorhead Police responded to the 1800 blk of 20 Street South to assist Sanford Ambulance with a medical call. Officers learned through the investigation that there was evidence of an Assault. A 53 year old female victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Maryssa Cooley, a 22 year old Moorhead resident, was arrested and is currently held at the Clay County Jail for Felony Third Degree Assault and Misdemeanor Domestic Assault.
The Moorhead Police Department was assisted by Sanford Ambulance and The Moorhead Fire Department during this incident.
