On Monday, November 3, the Moorhead Police Department (MPD) was dispatched to the intersection of Highway 75 and 15 Ave. N. at 1:24 pm for a report of a traffic collision. MPD received a report that an eastbound vehicle traveling at a low rate of speed had collided with a southbound BNSF rail car.
The driver, an 84-year-old Fargo resident, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was extricated from the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to a health care facility to receive treatment for her injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still currently being investigated. There is no additional information releasable at this time.
