On Monday, April 10, 2023, members of the Moorhead Police Department arrested Jacqueline Kay Swanson, age 59, of Moorhead, for the hit-and-run incident involving a juvenile male who received serious injuries. Swanson was located at a South Moorhead home and taken into custody without incident. She is currently being held at the Clay County Correctional Facility. A long-form complaint will be forwarded to the Clay County Attorney's Office requesting Felony Failure to Stop for a Collision Causing Injury and Felony Criminal Vehicular Operations charges.
