On Thursday, December 1, 2022, at approximately 11 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of 32 Street South after the family located a deceased adult female in her home. The victim had traumatic injuries noted on her body. There was no sign of forced entry into the house.
The Moorhead Police Department, with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension, is currently working on the crime scene. The victim's body will be transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
Currently, there is a person of interest being sought regarding this investigation. There is no known threat to the public. Due to the active investigation, only limited information can be released. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
