Budget Forum
Welcome to the City of Moorhead Budget Forum website. This interactive site has been designed to listen to you, the citizens of Moorhead, and hear your priorities and goals for the City. With the State of Minnesota facing unprecedented deficits in the current biennium (2008-09) and the upcoming 2010-11 biennium, the City of Moorhead will likely be impacted by reductions in annual Local Government Aid (LGA) payments. LGA is a significant source of revenue that is used to fund a variety of services, including public safety, parks and recreation, street maintenance, and other programs and activities.

From there you will be able to leave your suggestions that will assist the Mayor, City Council, and City staff address the budget deficit matter facing the City at this time.
