Initial priority COVID-19 vaccination implementation is underway in Minnesota and Clay County. Minnesota is currently vaccinating individuals in Phase 1a Priority Group 1, which includes certain Hospital Personnel, Long Term Care Facility Residents and Personnel, Emergency Medical Services Personnel, COVID-19 Testers, and COVID-19 Community Vaccinators. Individuals who are currently eligible to receive the vaccine will be contacted by their place of work or place of residence if living in a congregate care facility.

Please also be aware of scams regarding vaccinations. Clay County Public Health will never ask for payment for a COVID-19 and there is not a list for the public to sign up for a vaccine.
