North Moorhead Shooting

On November 27 2020 at 9:23PM the Moorhead Police Department responded to the 2400 block of 4 Avenue North for a disturbance, involving several individuals and firearms. As Officers responded to the scene updated information was provided a shot had been fired.

The responsible parties had fled the scene prior to Officers arriving. Officers were able to secure the scene, later recovering a spent cartridge in a nearby parking lot. It is not believed anyone was injured as a result of the shooting.

Preliminary information suggests the parties were possibly known to each other. No firearms were recovered at the scene. There is not believed to be a risk to public safety at this time. Moorhead Police are actively working to identify potential victims and suspects in this case.
