UPDATE: This vehicle was just recovered about six blocks from where it was taken. It was unoccupied and the investigation is ongoing. (07/02 1500 hours M. Detloff #103)
On July 2, at approximately 0321 hours, a pizza delivery driver was dropping off a pizza in the 900 block of 18 St S. He saw a white male in his 30s run and jump into his vehicle and drive in reverse south on 18 St before turning to go East on 12 Ave S. His vehicle is described as a 2015 white Ford Escape. At the time it was stolen it had North Dakota license plate of 820CSC.
We would like to remind everyone not to leave your vehicle running and unlocked even if it's a short time as there has been an increase in theft of motor vehicles.
