At approximately 2:20 am on June 23rd, 2020, the Moorhead Police Department was dispatched to a single vehicle crash in the 1000 blk of 40th Avenue South. It was reported that the vehicle was witnessed driving on an adjacent sidewalk before becoming disabled in a ditch. There were no pedestrians endangered and no other property was damaged. The driver originally left the scene on foot but later returned. A DWI investigation ensued and Jordyn Schmidt (21) of Fargo was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI.
