At 0443 hours the Moorhead Police Department and the Moorhead Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire in the 1000 blk of 32nd Avenue South. Officers arrived and discovered that the fire was a result of a single vehicle crash. The vehicle was west bound on 32nd Avenue South, left the roadway and struck two trees. A female passenger was transported from the scene by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries. Through the investigation it was learned that the vehicle involved in the crash was stolen in Moorhead earlier in the night. Sabastijan Tahirovic (27) of Fargo was arrested for Felony Possession of Stolen Property. The investigation is still ongoing. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
