Sump Pump Reminder

Snow melt is adding volume to the lift stations

A reminder for Moorhead residents: If you haven’t already, please make sure your sump pump hose is draining outside. With the additional precipitation and snow melt, unnecessary discharges to the sanitary sewer during this time creates a risk of overloading the sanitary sewer system causing the possibility of backups. The City wants to alleviate this risk for you and your neighbors.

Areas that are reaching capacity may receive notices through the Code Red system to plug floor drains. Please ensure your Code Red subscription contact information is up-to-date.
