On February 1, 2020 at 1:58PM, Officers from the Moorhead Police Department responded to the 10 block of 14th St. S. on a report of a vehicle that was struck by a train. A vehicle driven by an 87 year-old female had been struck by a train traveling eastbound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and later succumbed to her injuries. This is an active investigation and no further information is available at this time.
UPDATE at 1:20 PM on 2/2/20: The victim has been identified as 87 year-old Lila Hoyme of Dilworth, MN.
