Victim's Identity Confirmed

On June 29, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM, members of the Moorhead Police Department, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Moorhead Fire Department, and FM Ambulance, responded to Johnson Park, in Moorhead, for a report of what appeared to be a body floating in the river. First Responders were able to locate and recover the body from the river.  After the recovery, the body of a male was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for positive identification.

Today, we received confirmation of the identity. The victim has been identified as Jeffrey Lindell, age 56, of Moorhead. At this time, no foul play is suspected, but final determinations will be pending the final autopsy results.
