On June 25, 2019, at approximately 8:51 p.m., Moorhead Police were dispatched to the intersection of Main Avenue and 8th Street for an injury accident. The accident involved a small passenger car and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle appeared to have non life threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene with extensive damage.
The driver of the passenger car was cited for disobeying a semaphore (Stop Light). He was identified as Joel Haugen (65) from Fargo, ND.
