Moorhead Flood 2019 Update - Snow on the way

Snow event expected Wednesday into Friday

Blowing snow is likely, especially along the I-94 corridor southeast of Fargo-Moorhead. Some residents have asked how this weather system may affect the severity of flooding. It is possible the period of high water may be extended due to the storm. It may even be possible that there could be a second river crest, but likely lower than the first crest on Monday. In either case, the City of Moorhead continues real-time monitoring of weather information and the City’s flood infrastructure and will respond accordingly.
