Travel impacts as of August 9, 2018:

4 Av S from 21 St to 22 St S remains closed

2 Av S serves as  “entrance only” to Moorhead High

21 St northbound right lane is closed from railroad tracks at SE Main Av Intersection to 4 Av S

22 St S remains closed

Oak Way and Birch Lane intersection has a temporary roundabout is in place to control traffic speed and congestion during the project

Business impacts:

Businesses in the area remain open and access is maintained! Please support these local businesses during the construction period!

Construction Progress: 

Forcemain is being installed along 22 St to 2 Av and will continue north around the high school parking lot. Storm Sewer installation has begun on 4 Av and along 22 St. Temporary watermain connection has been made south of 4 Av. A temporary signal is being installed along 1 Av for a future detour and work is underway on an alternate pedestrian route.

Looking ahead: 

Utility installation will continue. The week of the September 17, at the intersection of SE Main/20th/21st the northbound lanes of 21 St and eastbound lanes of SE Main will be closed. A detour route along 1 Av will be utilized with temporary signals at Main Av and 21 St intersections.
