Notice is hereby given that the City General Election will be held in the City of Moorhead, Minnesota on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at which the following offices shall be filled:
Mayor (4-year term)
Ward 1 Council Member (4-year term)
Ward 2 Council Member (4-year term)
Ward 3 Council Member (4-year term)
Ward 4 Council Member (4-year term)
Candidates must be qualified voters at least 21 years of age on the date of taking office, a U.S. citizen, a resident of the City/ward for least 30 days prior to the election, and from the City for Mayor, or from their respective ward for Council Member.
Affidavits of candidacy for the above offices may be filed with the City Clerk, Moorhead City Hall,
500 Center Avenue, 3rd Floor, beginning July 31, 2018 at 8:00 am, until August 14, 2018 at 5:00 pm. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The Office will be open until 5:00 pm on August 14. The filing fee is $5.00.
