Moorhead hires Assistant City Manager
Dan Mahli will join the City of Moorhead team
City Manager Christina M. Volkers has announced the hiring of Dan Mahli as the new Assistant City Manager. Dan is currently with the Planning and Development Department at the City of Fargo and has accepted this position. Dan did his undergraduate work at NDSU and his graduate work at MSUM receiving a Master’s in Public Administration. Dan comes to Moorhead with significant experience in city government along with extensive personal community involvement in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area.
The new Assistant City Manager will oversee Moorhead's administrative service divisions, including Information Technology, Finance, and Human Resources. Dan will take the lead on many citywide projects and will work closely with the directors of all city departments. This position serves a key role in the formation of strategic decisions and cross-department collaboration.
Volkers notes, "We are thrilled to have Dan join our team…please join me in welcoming him to our City!"
