Moorhead Promotes Two Assistant Chiefs, Three Captains.

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, Moorhead City Council Member Heidi Durand will administer the Oath of Office to five newly promoted officers at Station 1 of the Moorhead Fire Department, 111 12 St. N, at 7:00 pm. Assistant Chiefs Benton Hicks and Gary Larsen will fill openings created by retiring Chiefs Joe Gaughan and Greg Doeden. Captains Rick Loveland, Justin Rosenfeldt and Trent Amundsen will fill openings created by the promotions of Hicks and Larsen and the recent resignation of Captain Ryan Muchow who became Chief of the Fergus Falls Fire Department. The ceremony will be open to the public.
