The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as 68-year-old Phillip Sigurd Skatvold. Skatvold resided in the home with his adult daughter who was also present at the time of the fire. She was transported to Sanford hospital where she was treated and released shortly thereafter. A third person in the house at the time of the fire is still hospitalized.
The fire investigation is ongoing.
